Hey Everyone~

How are you all?~?~?~?
I haven't been by in a whole week, and what a week it was...

Let me start off by what tomorrow is....JURY DUTY!!! AKKK~I HATE THAT!!!!! I must have jinxed myself because no less then a month ago I was telling someone that I lucked out by never being selected for jury duty. Well, there you go! I spoke to soon, ugh....But anyway, onto this past week. I had to have a mole removed~right on the middle of my back on my spine~yucky! 11 stitches and instructions not to work out for a week because the skin is so tight there that any bending or straining will rip it right open. Which I really don't want...I am a baby as it is~the doc had to prescribe 30 mgs of valium just for me to be able to do it. I do not deal well with surgery or blood and cuts well at all~if you knock me out thats one thing, but for me to be awake and know you are cutting my skin is a whole other situation, LOL! But I survived it~granted, in a valium induced haze, but hopefully I won't have to have any more taken out. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

My German and Irish Blood doesn't do well in the sun, ha!

I have also been glued to the TV everynight~the DVD player actually~watching Lost!!! My gosh, what an awesome show it is! SOOOOO SOOOOO SOOOO Good!!!!!!!!! You have to see it~if you didn't get to watch it on TV, you should go rent it on DVD~the whole season, 6 disks. Such a well done show....not too many things will earn this....but it gets an Official Heather Lee TV Show Rating of...an A+++++++ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think thats a first!

I had a wedding last Saturday, and one the Saturday before that....a lot of people getting married this month....so my last 2 Saturdays were spent doing that....both were very nice. I had 3 weddings this year, seems the next generation in my family is all getting married! I swear we had no weddings for almost 10 years in my family.

Now onto the Bodybuilding stuff....The North Americans and the Canadian Nationals...Kim Perez took the Overall at the North Americans! Good Luck in the Pros...seems you won't need it, you already took 2nd at your first pro show, the Europa last night. Beaten out in the Heavyweight class by Bonnie Priest. Awesome showing! And Tonia Williams took 1st in the LW class. But back to the amatures...the Canadians awarded Autumn Raby, who looked great, and Colette Guimond. There was some confusion as to Colette being awarded a pro card with the new "tone it down" rule by the NPC and the IFBB, but Canada seems to be going there own way. Congrats to all the ladies who turned pro! Nice work!

Well all, I have to run, Elena and I are going out shopping in a few minutes....

Hey Everyone....

I cannot believe Labor Day has come and gone...another summer, another season gone....
It is just amazing how fast time flies!!! I think once you pass 21, the years just all run together, LOL!!!

I had a really great weekend....lots of fun! But before I get to that, I wanted to say THANKS to all of the great people who helped out Melissa Dettwiller....if you didn't get to read my older entries, Melissa lost her home in New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina. It was flooded under 13 feet of water. She was lucky to have escaped but she lost everything she owned. She told me the outpouring of support she had gotten was just unreal and expresses her gratitude to everyone’s generosity. I donated to Melissa, as well as to the Red Cross, and if you didn't already, I urge you to spare whatever you can give to help rebuild a life!!!

Now, onto this weekend...Elena was away all weekend...I am not sure but I think she got back yesterday. I have to give her a call and see how her Labor Day was! I had a wedding on Saturday. My 2nd cousin Tara got married to her boyfriend of 10 years, Kevin! It was a really incredible wedding....she was a gorgeous bride too!!! We all had a blast!! Sunday I headed down to the shore. For those of you not familiar with NJ or our lingo, down the shore means down the beach. The only place in the world that you will hear that phrase is from a Jersey native. Ever hear the Bruce Springsteen Jersey Girl....know the line, "Cause down the shore everything's alright, you and your baby on a Saturday night..." Well, there you go, that’s us!!! so, like I said, we went down the shore to the boardwalk and hung out for awhile...that was a great time, as always!! The weather was perfect, not too hot, the sun was shining...it was a great day! Then Monday we just hung out at home, washed our motorcycle, played with my pups, and BBQ's. And this morning I had a dentist appointment. The self-proclaimed sugar addict has not one cavity, pat on the back for me!!! LOL!!!

And now the fall is almost upon us!!! Before you know it, the leaves will be changing here in Jersey, that crisp autumn air, those blustery nights...pumpkins, Halloween...then Thanksgiving, and in the blink of an eye.......CHRISTMAS!!! My gosh, how time flies, LOL!!!

Hey Eveyone....

I am urging you all to donate whatever you can spare for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The devastation is just unparalled. It is just heartbreaking to see what these people are enduring in the face of this tragedy.

I just heard on the news that even after the water goes down from the flood we still can't go look through our homes in New Orleans to see if there is anything we can salvage because of toxic mold and air born germs. I hope that's not true because I want so bad to go check on my cats to make sure they are not alive and starving to death. I don't think they made it through the flood but I can't live with myself if I don't know for sure!!! They also said on the news that the looting was so bad that the looters burned down the Lake Side Mall where I use to shop all the time. Why would they want to burn down a mall?? How could something like this happen? This is like a bad dream.. maybe if I pinch myself I'll wake up from it! I'm still looking for an apt here in Houston Texas. It's hard because I don't know my way around the city and it's so big. I keep getting lost!
