Hey Everyone~


HAPPY ALMOST 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!! Do you all have big plans this holiday weekend? Having a holiday on a Tuesday is weird....it's like a 4 day weekend, haha! :~) Excuse to kick back and relax!!!!!!! I have yet another BBQ to go to this weekend....Mmmm, yummy! BBQ food is one of my favorites in the summer!

I had a great workout last night with Elena~legs...seems like we always end up training legs together!!! We did the usual kick ass routine we do~extensions, squats, step ups, lying curls, and standing curls. She had another one of her friends come down and jump in with us too~a beginner, so it was fun teaching someone new what we do for legs... She got us on a good night to learn too cause it was a light night with high volume training. And tonight I trained back by myself.

I took Maria on a photoshoot today with the brilliant Brian Moss. His work is just amazing...he has been in the business for 25 years and has an amazing eye for shooting photos. He has a vintage gym set up to shoot in(see www.vintagegym.com). I shot with him several times now and have so many amazing photos he has captured. It was nice being a spectator and watching a shoot~just being able to relax and help direct is fun for me. I can't wait to see her photos from today~and they will also be added to her page in my GIRLFRIENDS section!!! Just another reason to join!

I also picked up the new issue of IRONMAN MAGAZINE that I am in. It's the August 2006 issue with Arnold on the cover. I am in the Pump & Circumstance section on page 282-283....Thanks to Ruth and Lonnie over there for always keeping me in mind!!! :~)

Well all, time to head out of here. Well, not really out, but off, as in OFF the computer!!! If you haven't yet, be sure to go and vote for me in the MS. BIKINI WORLD contest!!! Hey Everyone!
It's Thursday~the weekend is almost here!!! :~) I have 2 BBQ's on Saturday and another one on Sunday!!! Such a busy weekend!!!

...and I have picked my next show!

I haven't stepped on a competition stage since the 2004 Nationals, with the exception of competing in Strongman, so it's been awhile. I have been at it every year since 2001...Just sitting here thinking about how much I have competed has me missing being up on that stage, or in the case of powerlifting, that platform, LOL!

So you see, I have always been a competitor, first bikini contests, then fitness model searches, then bodybuilding....then onto powerlifting, strongmen contests...and now I have the itch again!!! It's been too long! So, I am now 17 weeks out from my next show...On October 28th....My National Qualification expired so it's back to the Regional Level for me right now....I will begin my prep about 12 weeks out, so I still have time to enjoy my summer! I am looking forward to getting my butt back into competition shape! :~) No feeling in the world like that!

My training is going great, getting back on track after putzing around these last few weeks with all the work on my house. Last night was legs, and I think as of next week Elena and I (www.elenaseiple.com) will be back to our Wednesday night leg workout, so you can expect new galleries and video's of out training!!

Well off to go and train my clients now....I leave you with a few competition shots! Enjoy!

Hey Everyone,

Just sitting here playing the waiting game today, more construction stuff on my house. Well, not really construction, but getting my hardwood floors re-sanded. The final touches on months of work that has been going into my downstairs~living room, dining room, and bathroom. You know how the work just never seems to end with old houses, and boy oh boy, mine is old. 103, to be precise. Gotta love em'! So, despite having a million things to do this week, last week, and the week before, I am sitting here in limbo, surfing the net, looking for something to amuse myself, LOL! Internet is good for that. I just found myself reading articles on garden slugs. Why? I don't have the foggiest idea! That's what the internet seems to do to you! LOL!

I got an email from Ruth Silverman over at Ironman Magazine on Friday, and she told me I am going to be featured in the Pump & Circumstance Column she writes...So when it comes out, I will be sure to let you know! They are always so good to me over at IM~both Ruth and Lonnie Teper :~) !!! So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that...

I always like to read the BLOGS that some of the other FBB'ers write~to keep up on what everyone is doing, what they are up to, when they are competing next...We only get to see each other a few times a year, usually at photoshoots or at shows. Other than that, most of us are spread out all over the country, so the internet affords you the luxury of not racking up a phonebill from hell, LOL! I was just looking at Britt Miller's a few mintues ago. I think she is one of the youngest FBB-ers with the most potential I have seen in awhile. She has awesome symmetry, a very pleasing shape, and a really pretty look! Very marketable! After taking her class at the USA's last year, I think you can expect a lot more from her in the future! Looking at the pics of her and Cindy Phillips together reminds me of some of me and my friends~you kind of become like the three stooges. Well, in the case of Cindy and Britt, the two stooges, LOL! You get the idea though. That's a great blog to follow. :~)

I smoked my chest last night with one of my fellow stooges ;~)...Marta. It is tender to the touch today. That is always a good sign....nothing like Monday night chest! Got big legs tomorrow night. Tonights workout looks like it has to be scrapped cause the contractor won't be done anytime soon...Oh well....free day off for me! :~)
