Hey Everyone!!

TGI...M???!!!??? LOL! Not really! Haha...

So another week is here, another month is over...I can't believe that tomorrow is August already! Where does the time fly?

The USA's was this weekend, and for the first time in ages, I can say the judges got it right. Well, at least with the Overall decision going to HEATHER POLICKY!!!!!!!!! She looked awesome!!! I am so happy for her~I thought she looked the best I have EVER seen her! She has a physique that should do really well in the pro-ranks. I think the judges really screwed her in some previous years, but this year was hers!!! A huge congrats to an awesome athlete!!

Now, we need my girl ELENA SEIPLE to nail it in November at the Nat's and the year will be complete. She is another one who has had it coming for a long time....A few more months and we will see!

This has been one of the best summers I have had in a loonnnggg time....seems like every weekend is something else going on...and when there is nothing going on we make something happen!! LOL! A friday night of Chinese food turned into an impromptu gathering and we ended up busting out the Scattagories(Marta's favorite game!!!) haha...if you have ever played that game you know what I mean when I say you just hit a proverbial WALL! Your mind just ends up frying and you can't come up with the easiest of answers! Oh well, guess that’s why it is such a challenge! It was fun though...

We also went for a motorcycle ride this weekend...down to the shore, hung out at Martells for a bit and then off again. Riding down by the shore, or for you NON-JERSIANS, that would be by the beach, is always one of my favorite short rides. And speaking of rides, only another 19 days till VACATION!!!!!!! ROAD TRIP BABY!!! Off to Florida we go again! I love that trip! I will be making a pit stop in Virginia to do the trophy presentation at the second annual FATBACKS POWERPLANT STRONGMAN EVENT! Should be an awesome comp run by a great group of guys! I am looking forward to it!

Be sure to check me out in the new issue of IRONMAN if you haven't already in the Pump & Circumstance Column, and I will be in the 3rd issue of the new Strongman Magazine STRONG! John is doing a great job with a new publication! Be sure to check it out for full coverage of a sport that doesn't get enough print! Kudos to him!

My training has been on track, as I am trying to get my body ready for a potential competition in November, my first in a year and a half...well, at least where BB'ing is concerned.

Well all, I have to run...I leave you with the pics of the day~Some oldies but goodies, LOL! I did a photoshoot with the guy from the Sopranos a few years back, before he was on it.... and was digging thru a box when I found the autographed proof he signed for me, kind of funny! The other was of me back in my Miss Hawaiian Tropics Days....now mind you this was well before bodybuilding, and there I was hitting a bicep shot onstage....Classic! Thought you guys may enjoy those!

Hey Everyone~

Happy Thursday, and Happy Day After My Birthday, LOL!!! Yes, it's true, I am one year older. Ahhh, gotta love birthdays. Whether or not you want them, they just keep on coming!! I actually had a birthday week, not really a birth-day....

We started the festivities on Tuesday night(the night before my actual birthday) with a few of my friends & my husband taking me out to a local restaurant/lounge that I love(or actually love the mojhitos) at!!! I got a few awesome presents(yes, early!!!) A really hot Juicy Courture charm bracelet, and a matching D&B wallet to go with my bag that I got for my wedding anniversary! So nice!!! :~) 3 mojhitos later I was loving life and didn't mind that I was going to be one year closer to 30, haha!!! Then on Wednesday, my actual birthday, Bianca tried to take me out to breakfast but those mojhitos were telling me to stay in bed, so I passed on that offer....later on I went shopping and out to lunch again, stuffed myself silly, and went home to take a birthday nap!!! I woke up and headed out to the gym(can't miss a Wednesday night workout!) And then, much to my surprise, after stopping at the store like I was asked to on the way home from the gym to pick something up, I walked in the door to 15 of my closest buddies singing Happy Birthday to me!!! Nothing like a post-workout celebration that I totally didn't expect! :~) We all hung out pretty late for a weeknight and I was showered with more gifts then I had gotten in years!!! I felt like a kid again, and most of all, I got to spend my day with the best group of friends a girl could ask for!! I am truely blessed!!!! Thank you to all of my dear friends, and thank you to all of my fans who wrote emails and sent cards and gifts~YOU GUYS ALL ROCK!!!!!

Hey Everyone~

Hope you all had a great July 4th weekend!!! I know I have been away for a few days but I have been having an awesome month~nonstop giggles for me these days!!! It has been 2 weeks of fun fun fun!!! :~) Much overdue, may I add!! LOL!!!

Last weekend a good friend of ours had a 4th of July BBQ that was quite a riot! What started off as a mellow party switched to a different course when they all decided to bust out the bottles of vodka....oh boy!!! Now if you know me, you know I don't do vodka, so I just sat back and watched as it unfolded around me, lol! And another thing you know if you know me well is that I am always right on top of everything that always happens with my camera, and I never ever miss a photo op!!! Oh boy, do I have some blackmail pics from that night!!! Haha!!! The next day we tried to all get ourselves together and did a day trip up to the Poconos...now the area near our vacation home up there had been bombarded with rain over the last few weeks, and there was a lot of really bad flooding and trees down. Our Denali is pretty well equipped to get us thru the worst of conditions, but there was one huge tree down on one of the gravel roads we went down. We had just managed to manuver around it when we came to a good portion of the road that was washed out....not good! So it took 5 of us about 25 minutes to figure out a genius plan to get out of the situation, do a u-turn and get out of there. Oh well, it was an adventure to say the least. Monday we took a ride on our motorcycle down to the shore and spent the day at the boardwalk and the beach~and I am a major sun-junkie so you know I loved that! For the 4th we actually didn't get to see any fireworks but we had a small BBQ at our house with our friends and went to a park by our house....the best way to spend the holidays~good times with good friends!! Who could ask for more!!! I haven't been on a swingset in years, and it was pretty funny and slightly terrifying when we got into a "who could swing the highest" contest. Funny the things you miss as an adult....

This week was a short week, with Monday and Tuesday falling victim(so to speak)to the holiday. Wednesday and Thursday I trained with Elena~first shoulders and then chest. She is getting ready for the Nationals so she is again kicking into overdrive! Friday night we just hung at home and then the weekend was more fun fun fun! Saturday we went to the beach again, and again took an awesome motorcycle ride down. The weather was just gorgeous for a ride, and we have a really comfy bike(a BMW LT) which is a touring bike. It's almost like riding on a couch!!! So that always makes riding that much nicer...we played skee-ball and of course, I kicked everyones ass!! I am the queen of skee-ball! Well, most of the time! We hung out and had a bite to eat and I indulged in a few margaritas again!! Yummy! :~) Saturday night we hung out and watched a movie, and then Sunday I had to do an open house. For those of you who haven't been keeping up on things with me, I got my real-estate license in February. I think I may have actually found a buyer for my listing too, so let's all keep our fingers crossed for me! After I was done there a few of us went out to get ribs at a BBQ place in my area, and then we went bowling. Now, mind you, I have never had a margarita at a bowling ally before, let alone any alcoholic beverage, but my better half decided to get me a blue margarita and I was totally shocked that it was one of the best I have had!!! And believe me, Elena and I both fancy ourselves quite the margarita-connoiseurs!!! LOL! Needless to say, the 3 games that I bowled just got progressively worse, haha!!! But hey, skee-ball was mine!!!! :~)


Now what is coming up for me in the next couple of weeks??? My training is on track, getting myself in shape for some shoots coming up, and a possible competition in November(just working out the timing). Oh, and speaking of which, be sure to check me out in Ironman this month~the August Issue, with Arnold on the cover....page 238! :~) In mid-August I am going on a road-trip!!! My favorite!!! I love road-trips!!! I am going down to see my in-laws in Florida for about 9 days and I will be stopping off in Virginia to do the trophy presentation for a Strongman Event down there....and speaking of Strongman, I will be in an upcoming issue of the new strongman magazine called STRONG!!! They just put out there second issue so be sure to check it out.
