Hey Everyone!

I know, I know, it's been forever since I updated my blog....but regular updates have not ceased so don't worry!! :~)

Wow....where to begin? Well for starters, I did try to update here a few times here but blogger sometimes has a nasty habit of losing your journal postings in cyber space, so when you spend 45 minutes typing and go to post, only to find that you lost everything you wrote, and it's your own fault because you didn't back it up to MS word before you hit POST, it makes you just not wanna write, haha. Phew, how is that one for a run on sentence??? But seriously it was my own fault, so now, as I sit and write this, I am writing in Microsoft word. Rest assured, this will make it up.

Anyway, last I wrote, Bianca's Birthday had just passed....and what a party it was! The next weekend it was off on a ROADTRIP !!! I-95 South, NJ to Florida!!! 22 hours of driving and we were there! It was definitely an adventure....we had a blast! And me? Well I think about 18 hours of that driving was done by me....give me my Starbucks and my music and I am good to go! We spent a lot of time at the beach, of course, and the pool....we went to an aquarium/rehab center for marine life, spent a lot of time in Ybor City, which is like New Orleans but smaller....and we went to Coyote Ugly!! Now that place is a BLAST!!! Oh my gosh, how much fun!!! We(Me & Marta) ended up on top of the bar dancing!! Its one of those places where they encourage that type of thing, haha! If you ever see the movie, it is just like that but even crazier! You just have to see the pics....they are in the members section! The bartenders are what you would call, well....a wee-bit pushy, to say the least. I think that place was the first time I have seen a funnel(for alcohol) since highschool, or since watching Animal House, haha....WILD! Then another day we did a day trip to Sarasota...needless to say, we had a really good time! The ride back was brutal(though it always seems that way)....it was a full 24 hours, but we came out unscathed and had quite an adventure!

September and October seemed to be Action Adventure months....I seemed to be hiking or canoeing just about every weekend in the Pocono Mountains! Nothing like practical application of training, right? LOL! My workouts are going great, nothing much to complain about there...my body is coming down and reshaping in a pretty balanced way, thought it took some time. Elena was getting ready for the Nationals, and we were still training together, though for very different results. I had a bunch of really great shoots the last few months, and was lucky to once again be featured in Ironman and STRONG, which is a new publication covering the sport of Strongman....And next month I will have a great photo spread in PLANET MUSCLE~should be about 8 photos!!! Jeff Everson has always done an amazing job with that magazine, from back in the day when it was a free publication....in fact, I think I was in their best butt contest a few years back and took 7th, haha...theres a flashback for you! :~) Anyway, the new issue will be on newsstands December 19th, so be sure to pick one up!

Speaking of training and Elena, she competed this past weekend in Miami at the Nationals, and once again had a second place finish....one of these years she will get that top spot. Congrats to her on another year of busting her ass!!! I also have to say Lisa Bickles and Britt Miller, who took 1st and 3rd respectively in the middleweight class looked beautiful and are a great representation of the sport. And finally, congrats to Laura Ottend, who, after so many years of plugging away at it finally took her class and the overall! Must be a great feeling! They all get to relax and eat!!! Just in time for Thanksgiving, haha!!! MMMmmmmmmmmm, turrrkkkeyyy!!!

I had an awesome shoot yesterday with Stephanie Collins, a good friend of mine for years and Maria....Steph also earned her pro-card this year in figure at the Team Universe in NYC...well, we all got bodypainted yesterday!!! This was my third time doing it, and it is always such a cool experience! The pics look like they are gonna come out awesome, and they will be in the members section soon! Be sure to check them out!
